Meet Cooper.

Cooper (age 8) was unable to talk about his father’s death. He couldn’t focus, was having angry outbursts, and was unable to share his feelings. But that all changed with Camp Bright Star. When Cooper was around other grieving children at camp, and was taught to express himself through art, he knew it was okay to talk about his dad. It was there that he began to heal.

Your gifts to Camp Bright Star help children like Cooper heal

On April 27, 2024, over 50 grieving children ages 5 to 12 can experience healing at a day camp that provides emotional support with fun, interactive activities led by bereavement specialists, registered nurses, artists, music therapists, and volunteers. Camp Bright Star includes time to connect with other kids with similar experiences, emotional support, time to remember and honor their loved ones, and of course, fun.

Your gift today will make a lasting impact on grieving children like Cooper.
