Advanced Breast Cancer Therapies
Every year in the United States, close to 260,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer. They are women of all ages and all types, so Health First Cancer Services has a comprehensive and collaborative approach to cancer treatment. This includes personalized medicine that uses genetic and tumor markers to determine which treatment patients may be better suited, such as specific drug therapy.
Early Detection for Better Outcomes
Health First is proud to be the first in Brevard County to offer tomosynthesis technology for breast mammography. This 3D technology is the first and only clinically superior 3D mammography approved by the FDA. It can detect 41 percent more invasive breast cancers while reducing false positives by up to 40 percent.
Talk to your referring physician to see if you meet the criteria for 3D mammography.
