Optum (mental health)
The health of our members is of the utmost importance. We partner with Optum to provide mental health and substance abuse services for our members.
With an extensive network of more than 20,000 providers, they offer appointments within five days, compared to an industry standard of 14 days. Optum provides a dedicated member portal with resources and online Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
What can Optum assist with?
Optum has a variety of ways to help our members, which include:
- Assessing behavioral health and substance use needs.
- Screening for physical conditions and needs.
- Education on conditions and treatment options.
- Toolkits to help with depression, anxiety, alcohol use, smoking, and more.
- Referrals and assistance with appointment searches.
- Locating and connecting members with community resources and support.
- Reving plan benefits, resources, and programs available.
- Leveraging member strengths and support systems.
- Encourage and support wellness, recovery, and relapse prevention planning.
- Provide resources, education, and support on recovery and resiliency.
