Health First Health Plans has partnered with Uno Health to make accessing savings through government programs easier for our members. At no cost to you, Uno’s experts work with you to identify which programs are the best fit for you and manage the paperwork on your behalf - saving you time and money.

Do I qualify?

If you qualify, Uno will reach out to you on behalf of Health First Health Plans, by phone, to enroll you in all programs you are eligible for, all in one phone call. Talk to your local Customer Service Associate if you need more information or to enquire about enrollment, or you can contact UNO directly at 1.800.794.2143 (TTY:711). 

What programs does UNO support?

Uno supports enrollment into a range of programs that subsidize medical costs, prescriptions, food, and more. This includes:

• Medicaid: Medicaid could bring your healthcare costs close to $0 while getting extra coverage for in-home care, medical transportation, and more.
• Medicare Savings Program (MSP): Members of this program can get $165 back per month from Social Security.
• Low Income Subsidy (LIS): This program acts as a little “extra help”. Once enrolled, you pay no more than $10.35 for covered prescriptions, or for Level 4 pay the lesser of 15% coinsurance or member’s plan copay for covered prescriptions.
• SNAP: Enrolling in this program can help you get up to $250/month to spend on groceries.
• LIHEAP: This can save you up to $1,000 on heating and cooling bills.
• Lifeline: This can help you save over $100 on phone and broadband bills.
