If you have heart disease – or risk factors for heart disease – cancer treatment can require extra considerations. That’s where our Cardio-Oncology Clinic comes in.
Our multidisciplinary team of experts work together to support patients who may need heart care before, during, and after cancer treatment.
If your doctor determines that your heart condition or risk factors require additional care to help you heal well while undergoing cancer therapy, they will refer you to our Cardio-Oncology program. Here, a team of cardiologists, oncologists, hematologists, and other experts collaborate on evaluation and treatment plans.
We care for patients who have a high risk of heart disease and those who have existing heart disease, along with those who develop heart disease or experience heart complications after cancer treatment.
In this program, we offer:
- Treatment options tailored to your heart health
- Advice and guidance as you consider your path forward
- Screening, monitoring, and treatment at all stages of cancer therapy
Our goal is a simple but important one.
We treat heart conditions and minimize the risk of complications while patients undergo the cancer therapy they need.
