Protecting you and the entire Health First community
Our priority is the health, safety, and security of our patients, families, doctors, nurses, and Health First associates.
When emergencies happen, we are prepared.
- We work closely with Brevard County law enforcement and emergency management officials.
- We have a long-term relationship with a technology firm to keep your information private and secure.
- We hold emergency drills TK times a year to make sure we are updated on the latest security protocols and that our associates get annual safety training.
What you can do in an emergency
Thank you for your patience and understanding while we deal with unavoidable emergencies. There are a few things you can do:
- If you are inside a Health First hospital or medical facility during an emergency, please stay where you are and wait for instructions from our associates or emergency officials.
- In case of a fire, please walk calmly to your nearest exit and move away from the building. If you are unable to leave by yourself, please wait for assistance.
- If you have a family member who is a patient during an emergency, please wait to visit and call for updates.
- If we are experiencing a power outage, please seek medical care at one of our other area hospitals, if at all possible.
