Before arriving at Health First, Dr. Azriel was a cardiology physician with Urban Health Clinic in Bronx, NY. Before that, he worked as a cardiology physician with City Wide Radiology in Brooklyn, NY. Before that, Dr. Azriel worked as a cardiology physician with Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Prior to that he was a cardiology physician with Medical Office in Queens, NY. Before that, Dr. Azriel was a medical director with Speech & Language Centers of Excellence in Brooklyn, NY.

Dr. Azriel completed a cardiovascular disease fellowship as a chief cardiac fellow with Broward Health Medical Center, affiliate of NOVA Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He completed a residency in internal medicine at New York Hospital Queens, affiliate of Wiell Cornell Medical College in Flushing, NY. Dr. Azriel earned his doctor of osteopathy from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, affiliate of New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, NY. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in biochemistry from Queens College, City University of New York in Flushing, NY. Dr. Azriel speaks conversational Russian.

Policies

New patients should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointments to complete all paperwork. They should bring their insurance cards, a government-issued photo ID, and lists of their medicines and any prior operations. Co-pays and any outstanding balances are due at the time of each visit. Generally, operations or procedures won't take place on the first visit.
