Stephanie Battaglini is a certified Nurse Practitioner with the Health First Medical Group (HFMG) serving patients at the Gateway Urgent Care.

Stephanie earned an Associate degree in Nursing from Brevard Community College in Cocoa, FL. She then earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. In 2014 she completed a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University in Ft. Pierce, FL, graduating with honors.

As part of her Nurse Practitioner clinical experience, Stephanie worked at the Brevard Health Center, Health First Obstetrics and Gynecology, Medical Associates of Brevard, Viera Sports Medicine, and the Health First NOW Clinic.

In 2002 she joined Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Surgical Progressive Care Unit. In 2004, Stephanie was promoted to the Clinical Charge Nurse/Supervisor in the Cardiovascular Surgical Progressive Care Unit where she worked for 12 years.

At Health First, Stephanie served on several committees, including the Best Practice, Performance Improvement, and Memorable Patient Experience Committees.

Stephanie is certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Cardiac Vascular Nurse by the American Nursing Credentialing Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society, and the Preventative Cardiovascular Nurses Association.

New patients should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointments to complete all paperwork. They should bring their insurance cards, a government-issued photo ID, and lists of their medicines and any prior operations. Co-pays and any outstanding balances are due at the time of each visit. Generally, operations or procedures won't take place on the first visit.
