Alanna Colòn received her Master of Science in Nursing - Midwifery Specialty from Frontier Nursing University. She earned her Associate in Science in Nursing from Brevard Community College. Her Associate in Arts in General Education was also earned at Brevard Community College.

Alanna's has experience working in Obstetrics and Women's Health, most recently working as a Registered Nurse/Charge Nurse in Mother/Baby for Health First's Cape Canaveral Hospital where she had direct care of antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and postoperative gynecologic patients. She has also gained experience working as Traveling Registered Nurse with American Mobile in San Diego. CA Traveled to California, South Florida and New York as a traveling Registered Nurse in the Labor & Delivery units. Responsibilities included caring of antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and postoperative gynecologic patients in Level I, II and III hospitals.

Additionally, Alanna worked as a Registered Nurse for North Shore Medical Center in North Miami, FL and as a Certified Nurse Assistant at Health First's Cape Canaveral Hospital.

Alanna is certified by the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) in Fetal Monitoring.

New patients should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointments to complete all paperwork. They should bring their insurance cards, a government-issued photo ID, and lists of their medicines and any prior operations. Co-pays and any outstanding balances are due at the time of each visit. Generally, operations or procedures won't take place on the first visit.
