Cardiac Electrophysiology

Laura Cozzitorto is a Physician Assistant who is a member of the Cardiac Electrophysiology team in Dr. Audrius Bredikis' office. Laura, who is from a Northwest suburb of Chicago, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of Nebraska. She was a professor for the Bethel University's PA program, and also served as a preceptor for Physician Assistant students from many universities in the Midwest.

With her emphasis in Internal, Pulmonary, and Critical Care Medicine, Laura has developed extensive experience in Intensive Care, hospital services, outpatient clinic, and emergency department settings.

Laura spent seven years in the U.S. Army and attributes her experience there for her love of medicine. While serving in Honduras, she attended a basic lifesaving class and knew she found her passion for medicine.

Practice Information


New patients should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointments to complete all paperwork. They should bring their insurance cards, a government-issued photo ID, and lists of their medicines and any prior operations. Co-pays and any outstanding balances are due at the time of each visit. Generally, operations or procedures won't take place on the first visit.
