Dr. Garcia has several goals for his practice which include providing primary care to the patient and the patient's family members, meeting the needs of the community, helping patients understand the importance of preventive medicine and establishing a culture of prevention. His special focuses include internal medicine and the management of chronic diseases such as diabetes mellitus and hypertension.

Dr. Garcia was born and raised in Cuba. While in Cuba, Dr. Garcia earned his medical degree and worked as an urgent care and ambulance service physician. After arriving to the U.S., Dr. Garcia completed a residency in Family and Rural Medicine at Central Washington Family Medicine. After completing his residency, Dr. Garcia went on to provide primary, geriatric, internal medicine, pediatric and preventive care at a rural clinic. He also worked as a Hospitalist.

He joined Health First Medical Group in 2010 and currently resides in Palm Bay with his family. He speaks Spanish and English.

New patients should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointments to complete all paperwork. They should bring their insurance cards, a government-issued photo ID, and lists of their medicines and any prior operations. Co-pays and any outstanding balances are due at the time of each visit. Generally, operations or procedures won't take place on the first visit.
