Cassie Krause is an ARNP, FNP-BC with the Health First Medical Group (HFMG) Seaside Urgent Care.

Cassie earned an Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Brevard Community College. She continued her education, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Central Florida. She then completed a Master of Science degree in Nursing, with a focus in Family medicine, from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL.

Cassie is not new to Health First. In 2007, she joined the organization as a Certified Nursing Assistant, working in the Progressive Care Trauma Unit at Holmes Regional. In 2009, Cassie, following completion of her Associate degree in Nursing, served as a Registered Nurse for the Trauma Progressive Care Unit at Holmes Regional. Her responsibilities included management of trauma, surgical, and orthopedic patients.

During her Nurse practitioner clinical experience she completed rotations at University of South Florida Family practice clinic, St Petersburg pediatrics, and Sunshine Health in Cocoa beach. She also participated in the Florida Military Resource Fair in Tampa and Women's Health Fair at the San Jose Mission in Dover, Fl.

Cassie enjoys volunteering in the community and spending time with family.

Cassie holds a board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from American Nurses credentialing center. Cassie also holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse practitioner and Sigma Theta Tau Nursing honor society.

Policies

New patients should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointments to complete all paperwork. They should bring their insurance cards, a government-issued photo ID, and lists of their medicines and any prior operations. Co-pays and any outstanding balances are due at the time of each visit. Generally, operations or procedures won't take place on the first visit.
