Namita Murthy, MD, is a fellowship-trained Otolaryngologist and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with Health First Medical Group.

Dr. Murthy graduated with Distinction in Biology as part of the researched-oriented Distinguished Majors Program from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. While at the University of Virginia, Dr. Murthy was selected to join the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society. She earned a Postbaccalaureate Research Training Award studying cell and molecular biology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.

Dr. Murthy obtained her Medical Degree from Boston University School of Medicine, earning membership to the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She subsequently completed an internship in General Surgery and residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Boston University Medical Center. Upon graduation, Dr. Murthy was selected as one of 50 annual fellows through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, joining Dr. Daniel Rousso in Birmingham, Alabama, and mastering techniques in facial aesthetic surgery and hair restoration.

Dr. Murthy is board certified in head and neck surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Murthy is also board eligible in facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Office Location

Policies

New patients should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointments to complete all paperwork. They should bring their insurance cards, a government-issued photo ID, and lists of their medicines and any prior operations. Co-pays and any outstanding balances are due at the time of each visit. Generally, operations or procedures won't take place on the first visit.
