Ritesh Patil, MD, MPH, is a board-certified Medical Oncologist and Hematologist, in practice since 2014. He is coming to Brevard from Southwest Cancer Center, a community group practice in Orlando, FL. Prior to that, he was a Hematology/Oncology attending physician with Erie County Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Hematology at State University of NY in Buffalo, NY. He also worked as a hospitalist at Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital, Buffalo, NY.

Dr. Patil completed a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at State University of NY in Buffalo, NY in 2014 and a residency in Internal Medicine at Temple University/Conemaugh Valley Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, PA. He served as Chief Fellow and Resident in the final years of his training. Dr. Patil earned his Master of Public Health (MPH) at Western Kentucky University in Bowling, Green, KY and his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India.

Dr. Patil is licensed to practice medicine in Florida. He has presented his research on breast cancer vaccines at several national meetings and has publications in many peer reviewed journals.

Policies

New patients should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointments to complete all paperwork. They should bring their insurance cards, a government-issued photo ID, and lists of their medicines and any prior operations. Co-pays and any outstanding balances are due at the time of each visit. Generally, operations or procedures won't take place on the first visit.
