Dr. Rayner is board certified in Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac CT and Internal Medicine.

His professional interests and expertise include invasive cardiology, consultative cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and CT angio. He has special interest in non-invasive evaluation of the cardiac patient and preventive cardiology.

Dr. Rayner earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota College of Medicine in Minneapolis. He completed his residency at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis. After practicing Internal Medicine for several years, he continued his medical education by completing an accredited fellowship in cardiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He also did specialized training in both nuclear cardiology and CT Angio.

Dr. Rayner joined Health First Medical Group in 2006 and is the Director of Nuclear Cardiology at Health First's Cape Canaveral Hospital. He is a member of the Cape Canaveral and Viera Hospital medical staff.

New patients should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointments to complete all paperwork. They should bring their insurance cards, a government-issued photo ID, and lists of their medicines and any prior operations. Co-pays and any outstanding balances are due at the time of each visit. Generally, operations or procedures won't take place on the first visit.
