Matthew A. Shlapack, MD is a board-certified endocrinologist with Health First Medical Group. He specializes in thyroid disease, diabetes and osteoporosis care.

Before arriving at Health First, Dr. Shlapack was an endocrinologist with Lee Health in Fort Myers, FL and with Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

He completed an endocrinology fellowship at the University of South Carolina's School of Medicine, where he also completed a residency in internal medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Ross University in Portsmouth, Dominica. Dr. Shlapack earned his Bachelor of Science in neurobiology and physiology from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD, where he also earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology.

Dr. Shlapack is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology.
