Dr. Myredsi Soto is board-certified in Family Practice. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Puerto Rico where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then went to the Universidad Central Del Caribe School of Medicine in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, where she successfully completed her Medical Doctor degree. Finally, she went to Penn State University where she completed her Residency at GSH Family Practice in 2006. After her residency, she and her husband (Dr. Nevarez) decided to come to Melbourne to practice medicine. Dr. Soto currently has privileges at Palm Bay Community Hospital and Holmes Regional Medical Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Hispanic American Medical Association.

Dr. Soto's practice of medicine consists of the full scope of family medicine and serves patient of all ages, from newborn to the elderly. She has a special interest in preventive medicine, managing chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and hypercholesterolemia, and performs minor surgical procedures in the office, including skin biopsies. She is a very pro-active and patient-oriented physician that is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

On the personal side, Dr. Soto enjoys spending time with her 4 children and her husband. Dr. Soto has a special interest in dancing and watching movies and her favorite pastime is spending time with her family.

New patients should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointments to complete all paperwork. They should bring their insurance cards, a government-issued photo ID, and lists of their medicines and any prior operations. Co-pays and any outstanding balances are due at the time of each visit. Generally, operations or procedures won't take place on the first visit.
