William Stephens, MD, Pharm. D is earned his Doctor of Medicine at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy and Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at Auburn University School of Pharmacy in Auburn, AL. Dr. Stephens completed his Pain Medicine Fellowship, Anesthesiology Residency and Medical Internship with the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL.

Dr. Stephens has worked as a Staff Pharmacist with CVS in Miami, FL and as a Clinical Staff Pharmacist; Pediatric/Neonatal/Cardiac ICU for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. He has also worked as a Clinical Staff Pharmacist;HIV/AIDS specific treatment for Grady Health System/Infectious Disease Program in Atlanta, GA and as Pharmacy Manager for Eckerd Pharmacy in Atlanta, GA.

Dr. Stephens is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, the American College of Physicians and has earned certification in HIV/AIDS.

Dr. Stephens is married with three children, has backpacked in 46 countries and enjoys photography, sailing and scuba diving. Dr. Stephens also served as "Aubie" the Auburn University Mascot from 1994-1996 earning 1st Place in the UCA National Mascot Championship in 1995 and 1996.

Policies

New patients should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointments to complete all paperwork. They should bring their insurance cards, a government-issued photo ID, and lists of their medicines and any prior operations. Co-pays and any outstanding balances are due at the time of each visit. Generally, operations or procedures won't take place on the first visit.
