HEALTH FIRST General Surgeon Mohamad Hammoud, DO, was asked to comment on efforts to perform a remote, robotics-assisted surgery in space for a story by Fox35 Orlando. “There's no surgeon there – the robot is there, and they could do the surgeries” guided by the surgeon, remotely, Dr. Hammoud told her. “That would change the world, to be honest with you.”
