March is National Nutrition Month, and Health First Registered Dietitian Rachelle Baker helped to mark the occasion by making healthy snacks with students at the Health First Center for Child Development.

 

March is National Nutrition Month, and Health First Registered Dietitian Rachelle Baker is inviting everyone to learn about making informed food choices and developing healthy eating and physical activity habits.

“It’s really important to start healthy habits from an early age,” Baker told Spectrum News 13. “Any eating habits you develop when you’re young, you take them into adulthood.”

Baker also discussed making the right eating choices in a Medical Minute broadcast for Space Coast Daily.
