The Health First Internal Medicine Residency Program aims to cultivate a new generation of skilled, compassionate, and service-driven Internal Medicine physicians who exist to improve the health and wellness of patients and families throughout Brevard County. Our program is dedicated to helping you become an exceptional physician who is skilled in high-quality patient care. We provide a comprehensive training experience that encompasses a diverse spectrum of inpatient and outpatient clinical experiences, with a focus on the unique health challenges of our Brevard County communities.
The internal Medicine Residency Program is a three-year, ACGME accredited program and we are committed to preparing skilled, compassionate, and service-driven Internal Medicine physicians who are ready for independent practice, fellowships, and administrative roles. It's our primary responsibility to deliver patient wellness experiences that focus on service first and care always, in an environment that promotes evidenced based medicine and ongoing innovation. Our goal is to inspire a lasting community impact on health outcomes, the advancement of patient safety, and a sense of dedication among our graduates to continue their medical careers within our region, contributing to the strength and well-being of Central Florida.
This program accepts 15 internal medicine residents per year.
