Mary

The pain in Mary's left hip was becoming unmanageable to the point that it was restricting her usual activities. She had visited a physician who gave her the recommendation for a traditional hip replacement but Mary wanted more.

A friend referred Mary to Orthopedic Specialist John Perry, MD with the Health First Physicians Group. "I was very impressed with him," says Mary, "and I had done quite a bit of research. When he explained anterior hip replacement, it sounded great because it was minimally invasive with a quicker recovery. And that was true! I was walking up and down stairs even before leaving the hospital. In fact, my occupational therapist and both my physical therapists dismissed me after my first visit saying that I did not need them. I felt great!"
