Dr. Ramirez completed postdoctoral training in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami School of Medicine’s Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL and in Cardiovascular Medicine at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Ramirez completed postdoctoral training in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center in Salt Lake City, UT. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA and his Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from Florida International University in Miami, FL.

Dr. Ramirez is a member of the American College of Cardiology, Heart Rhythm Society and Bexar County Medical Society. He is a Diplomate, American Board of Internal Medicine Cardiovascular Disease and Diplomate, American Board of Internal Medicine Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is licensed to practice medicine in Texas and Florida.

Dr. Ramirez has authored or co-authored research in several publications, including a book chapter, abstracts and several peer-reviewed manuscripts. He has presented research at major conferences around the world.
