The Health First Foundation Benefit Ball

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have successfully held the Benefit Ball for the last 35 years, raising more than $6 million for important programs and services that benefit our community.

In response to community feedback about the number of fundraising events held, we are replacing the Benefit Ball with an exciting and engaging, invitation-only annual donor appreciation reception. This recognition event will honor your generosity, celebrate providers and share how your gifts are making a difference in the health and wellness of our community.

We will host the first donor appreciation reception in September 2018 where we will showcase the 35-year history of the Benefit Ball. We hope you will continue your philanthropic support of Health First and join us in September. To be included or for more information, please contact our office.

Grape Escape

The Grape Escape has elevated to one of the most high energy and successful fundraising events in Brevard. Simply put, the concept is fine wines paired with delicious and specially prepared foods, while "escaping" to an exciting destination outside Brevard. Participants have traveled to Palm Beach, Vero Beach and elegant resorts in the Orlando area. One of the highlights of the evening is a live and silent auction. Proceeds from the Grape Escape support Heart and Vascular Services, including a new Hybrid OR Suite at Health First's Holmes Regional Medical Center.

The Health First Golf Classic

The Health First Golf Classic is a fun, four-person scramble tournament each year. Special games and contests allow golfers to win big prizes in Hole-In-One, Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive contests and more. Proceeds from the tournament benefit Aging Services, which includes a special place for grieving children, the William Childs Hospice House, the Center for Family Caregivers, and other important Health First charitable causes.
