Welcome to our Birth Suites. Our goal is to provide you with the most empowering birth experience possible.

To support you and your family with the best possible care, we have the following practices in place:

  • Bedside shift reporting - Your nurses and nursing assistants work as a team to care for you. When they come on and off shift, they will meet at your bedside to review your plan of care. They will include you in this discussion to ensure a successful and safe transition of care.
  • Care and comfort rounding - A team member will come to your room to assess your comfort level and provide care as needed. You can expect to be asked about your pain level, positioning, and any personal needs you may have. Let us know if you need uninterrupted time for yourself and your family.
  • 24-hour services - Services such as Neonatology, OB Hospitalist (Holmes Regional only), and Anesthesia are available round the clock.

In addition to medical and nursing staff, the following staff will be visiting you and your baby during your stay:

  • Birth certificate clerk.
  • Hearing screener.
  • Photographer.
  • Dietary specialist.
  • Social worker, as needed.
  • Lactation specialist, as needed.
