Meet the Behavioral Wellness Clinician Team

Regan Burdette, MSW Behavioral Care Manager

I earned my master’s degree in social work from Florida Atlantic University and now practice as a clinical social worker, helping clients navigate life’s challenges with compassion and support.

In my work, I focus on creating a space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. I strive to cultivate a deep, compassionate presence while helping clients tap into their own strengths and insights. I believe that empathy can’t be taught in a classroom — it’s something you develop through real connections and shared experiences.

My therapy sessions involve a collaborative process. Each session is a safe space to explore thoughts, feelings, and challenges at your own pace. There will be moments of reflection, insight, and even some gentle challenges as we work together toward your goals. My role is to guide and support you, helping you navigate your journey without judgment — and always moving forward in a way that feels right for you.

I find purpose in walking alongside clients as they navigate life's changes.

After earning my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida, I completed a Master of Science degree in Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin. As a licensed clinical social worker, I’ve worked with diverse populations in hospitals, mental health agencies, dialysis clinics, and private practice, supporting both adults and children through a wide range of experiences.

I specialize in mental health, grief and bereavement, aging, trauma, and perinatal issues. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, blending cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies to meet each client’s needs.

I believe the answers we seek are already within us. My role is to walk alongside my clients, helping them discover their own path forward. Therapy is client-centered and client-led, focusing on empowerment, self-discovery, and lasting change.

While I started my college career studying music education, I shifted to earn a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida and a master’s degree in social work from St. Leo University.

For over a decade, I’ve worked in private practice, schools, drug rehabilitation centers, and dialysis clinics, specializing in life transitions, stress management, and coping strategies. My approach is rooted in empathy, trust, and collaboration.

Therapy is a partnership where patients need to feel safe to be themselves without judgment. As a licensed clinical social worker, I help individuals navigate challenges, build resilience, and take meaningful steps toward well-being on their own terms.

Charissa Reynolds, LCSW Behavioral Care Manager

While I was originally drawn to law enforcement, I realized my true calling was supporting emotional well-being. I earned my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology from Florida A&M University and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Central Florida.

Now a licensed clinical social worker, I specialize in anxiety, depression, grief, and panic disorder, using evidence-based techniques like mindfulness and solution-focused brief therapy. My approach centers on empathy, collaboration, and respect.

Therapy is a partnership. I strive to create a supportive space where patients feel heard and empowered to work toward meaningful change, whether by managing distress, improving relationships, or building resilience.

Laurie Rochelle, LMHC Behavioral Care Manager

Back then, help wasn’t as accessible, and I struggled alone — failing ninth grade while trying to navigate the loss. That experience planted the seed for my passion to help others find the support I once needed.

Though I first considered a career in nursing, I quickly realized that needles and blood weren’t for me. Instead, I discovered a talent for working with people while coordinating programs in the tech industry. But my desire to make a deeper impact led me back to school, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, a Master of Arts in Counseling, and a Master of Arts in Management and Leadership.

I’m now a licensed mental health counselor with over 25 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults. I specialize in mood disorders, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma, and I’ve supported clients across schools, homes, offices, and through EAP counseling and behavioral care management.

My approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and helping clients move forward. I focus on building trust, setting healthy boundaries, and guiding people to recognize what’s holding them back. Therapy isn’t about perfection — it’s about progress. Whether I’m coaching, counseling, or managing care, my goal is to help clients break through barriers and start living life more fully.

Sitting chair-side, I observed how simple kindness and genuine connection could ease anxiety and build trust. That early exposure to healthcare sparked my passion for helping others navigate life’s challenges.

Before becoming a licensed clinical social worker, I honed my people skills through years of waitressing, where I learned the value of listening and guiding others through reflection. Since 1996, my journey in social work has taken me through diverse settings—from emergency mental health clinics and juvenile residential facilities to jails, nursing homes, and in-home case management.

Today, I focus on running intensive outpatient groups and providing individual counseling, particularly for seniors and young adults. I’m passionate about supporting people through transition periods in life, believing that movement and change are essential for growth. My approach emphasizes the importance of process over knowledge, encouraging clients to see their mistakes and vulnerabilities as unique strengths.

Therapy isn’t about quick fixes — it’s about consistency, reflection, and growth. I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to embrace change at their own pace.

But it wasn’t until my aunt, a social worker, shared stories about the teenagers she helped — many of whom had survived childhood abuse — that I felt pulled toward mental health. She earned her master’s degree in social work at age 50 and became my mentor and role model, inspiring me to follow a similar path.

I earned my master’s degree in social work from Florida State University and became a licensed clinical social worker. Since 1997, I’ve been working as a master’s level therapist, specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients develop skills that will improve their daily functioning and overall well-being.

At the core of my approach is empathy and compassion. I believe everyone deserves help and has the right to become the best version of themselves, no matter their circumstances. I also know that healing is possible, but it’s a choice clients must make for themselves. My role is to provide guidance, tools, and support along that journey.

Therapy with me is practical and focused on empowering clients to take meaningful steps forward. I create a space where healing feels doable and where clients feel supported as they work toward positive change.
