Earlier this year, Health First was preparing for its first-ever "Health First Days"- an opportunity for all our associates to come together to learn more about the future goals and hopes of our organization. One of the highlights planned for this event was a performance by the Health First Choir - a group of associates who auditioned to sing and inspire us all.

But then COVID-19 happened, forcing us all to put the health and wellness of our community first.

While the Health First Choir didn't get a chance to perform for fellow associates, they had already begun rehearsals, prior to social distancing mandates and other precautions. In preparation, the choir started practicing a song written by associate Benjamin Aubin, who works in Health First Medical Group's Patient Business Services Department. This talented group is made up of hospital nurses, customer service representatives with Health First Health Plans, patient care representatives with Health First Medical Group, hospital transport team members, IT and Home Care associates, and more.

That song, "Health First Cares," is true now more than ever. As our associates diligently work to safeguard our community against COVID-19 - and care for those stricken with the virus - this song epitomizes the selflessness and dedication these Health First Heroes bring to the job every single day.

For that, we thank them. And we thank you, our community, for entrusting us with your care. We want to share this video to inspire our associates and community - and serve as a reminder that we are all working together to get through this tough time.
