Our current contract with United expires on July 1, 2026. To continue providing the high-quality care you rely on, we need fair contracts from all payors, including United. If an agreement isn’t reached that reflects fair, sustainable reimbursement, Health First physicians and services may no longer be part of United’s network.
During this process, we’ll continue to keep you informed so you can stay up to date on what’s changing, how it could affect your care, and what steps you can take to maintain access to the Health First providers you know and trust.
What can I do to help make sure United agrees to a contract and Health First healthcare stays in my insurance network?
- Call United. Let them know how important it is for you to maintain in-network access to your community hospital. Call the number on the back of your insurance card.
- If you receive insurance through your employer, contact your Human Resources or leadership team. Tell them you deserve and expect a health plan that provides dependable in-network access to trusted, high-quality care right here at Health First.
